Forty Two, Water Markers on the Stour
32 x 16 inchesThis painting depicts parts of the Stour river at Haywards Bridge with Hambledon Hill in the background. Painted on a very hot day in situ as is my practice for most of my landscapes.
The forty two on the marker was particulary prominate and significant, of course if you’ve readed The Hitch Hickers Guide to the Gallaxy you’ll know is the answer to ” Life, the Universe and Everything ” so it seemed to be the place to paint that day.
It is also available as a print, available here
